Started in 1946, and now under the direction of Dr. Joanne Hsu, the Surveys of Consumers are conducted by the Survey Research Center at the University of Michigan.
The Survey Research Center (SRC) is the largest of the five centers of the Institute for Social Research (ISR) at the University of Michigan. For more than sixty years, the Survey Research Center has been a leader in social science research and the scientific method of survey research. Researchers from all over the world collaborate with the SRC to conduct research.
